I'm remodeling the bathroom-design ideas?

Doing a total rehaul of a little narrow small bathroom in a brick family home built in 1938 - looking for internet websites, hires photos, advice for a neutral but period look.

i think a pedestal sink could be appropriate for your new private bathroom since you are looking for something that is reminiscent of the era, but is still contemporary. something with classic lines like the PortraitВ® pedestal lavatory from kohler: http://www.us.kohler.com/onlinecatalog/d...

above the pedestal sink you can room a good large oval or rectangular ceiling mirror that can have some ornamental detail in the frame made of a black wood. here's a version of a simple bedroom mirror from ikea: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/produc...

a vintage bathtub could give that same 1930s feel like this Vintageв„ў private bath from kohler:

here is the PortraitВ® cozy toilet that matches the pedestal sink: http://www.us.kohler.com/onlinecatalog/d...

and for storage you can place along a glass wall a tall storage unit with cabinets and drawers made of a pretty brown wood like walnut or cherry ( that matches the makeup mirror), to hide all of the toiletries, etc. here's a simple one, just as an another concept, from ikea: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/produc...

  • just make sure it has a cozy toilet (here are some examples):
